How To Make Folding Chair Covers - DIY
In a previous article we gave some helpful tips on adding your own unique touch to your Chiavari banquet chairs. If you have old folding chairs around the house, or are looking to purchase ones for a project, this video will provide you the instructions needed to disassemble and decorate to your liking. We hope you enjoy the video and find a way to make your chairs stand out from the millions of others out there. This is a great arts & crafts project for teachers and students that have old classroom folding chairs
Items You Will Need:
- Folding chair ( With a padded seat )
- 1 Yard of fabric ( Per chair)
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Screw Driver ( Electric drill is preferred )
- Spray paint ( Color of your choosing )
- Gloves ( When using the spray paint )
Before beginning, it is recommended to have your tools and materials already laid out.
After spray painting the folding chair's frame, allow it to air dry before applying a second coat.
Please note: Some padded folding chairs use steel rivets for it's support instead of screws. Before purchasing any materials or equipment for this project, make sure that the seat and back are attached to the frame using screws so the chairs can be un-assembled and put back together easily.
